The Site

The site extends approximately 0.38 hectares, and currently comprises a privately-owned car park. It represents a great opportunity for the regeneration of an under-used brownfield site.


The site is located 1.3km to the north-west of Coventry City Centre and is within a five-minute walk of Radford Local Centre. Future residents will therefore be within walking distance of a range of services and amenities, including hot-food takeaways, a barbers, an optician, a bingo hall, convenience stores and Radford Social Club.

 

An Aldi supermarket is also located approximately 100 metres to the north of the site via Radford Road.

Future residents will also have easy access to public transport. Radford Road is well-served by public transport links, including bus services 16 and 735 which provide connections to Coventry city centre, Fillongley and Keresley. In this context, the site is a suitable and sustainable location to provide much needed retirement accommodation to meet the needs of older people in Coventry.
